Refunds and Returns Policy

At AMHG Works LLC, we want our customers to be happy with their purchase. Because many of our products may be handmade, crafted in small batches, made from natural materials, or produced with unique finishes and textures, our return and refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and practical.
By purchasing from AMHG Works LLC, you agree to the terms of this Refunds and Returns Policy.
1. General Return Window
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or store credit, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- be unused and in original condition
- be returned in its original packaging when reasonably possible
- not be marked as final sale or non-returnable
- not be damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or customer neglect
We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet these conditions.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered:
- custom-made or personalized items
- made-to-order items
- clearance or final sale items
- seasonal or limited-edition items marked as final sale
- gift cards
- items that have been used, altered, installed, washed, or damaged after delivery
If a product listing states that an item is final sale, that designation controls.
3. Handmade, Natural Material, and Small-Batch Variation
Many items sold by AMHG Works LLC may be handcrafted, artisan-made, hand-finished, or created from natural materials. As a result, slight variation in color, grain, texture, pattern, finish, shape, or distressing is normal and is not considered a defect.
These types of natural or handcrafted differences do not qualify on their own for a refund or return.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery at:

- clear photos of the packaging, if applicable
If we determine that the item arrived damaged, was defective, or that we sent the wrong item, we may choose, at our discretion, to:
- replace the item
- issue a full or partial refund
- provide store credit
- arrange for return shipping if needed
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights that may apply under warranties or applicable consumer protection law. Maine guidance makes clear that a seller generally cannot enforce a “no refund” policy against a customer who recently purchased a defective product that violates a warranty.
5. Return Process

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Do not send items back without first contacting us, because rogue return packages are like mystery casseroles — nobody wants to open them.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, a defective item, or shipping damage that qualifies under this policy.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
6. Refund Method and Timing
Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake, a defective item, or an item that arrived damaged.
If a customer qualifies for a return and refund, FTC consumer guidance says sellers generally must issue the refund within 7 business days for most payment types after accepting the return.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
7. Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, finish, or variation, the simplest route may be to return an eligible item and place a new order, subject to product availability.
If your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund where appropriate.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet entered processing, production, packaging, or shipment.
Because some items may be made to order, custom prepared, or packed quickly after purchase, cancellation requests are not guaranteed.
If an order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled and must instead follow the return process, if eligible.
9. Shipping Delays and Unavailable Items
We make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the timeframe stated at checkout or otherwise communicated to the customer. If no shipping timeframe is stated, online sellers are generally expected under FTC rules to have a reasonable basis to believe they can ship within 30 days.
If we cannot ship within the promised time, or within the applicable rule-based period when no time is stated, we may contact you to request approval for a delay or issue a refund for unshipped merchandise as required.
10. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you experience a problem with your order, we ask that you contact us first at amhgworks@gmail.com so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Initiating a chargeback for an order that is subject to a valid posted policy, or before contacting us for a reasonable resolution, may delay the handling of your request while the matter is under review.
11. Store Credit
In some cases, AMHG Works LLC may choose to issue store credit rather than a refund, particularly where the return does not involve a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. Any store credit issued will be subject to the terms provided at the time of issuance.
12. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refunds and Returns Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective when posted with the revised effective date.
